The Historic Home Tour is an event hosted by the Dayton Historical Depot Society who will be selling tickets at the Historic Depot Museum, $25 for non-members and $20 for Society members. Tickets can be purchased at the Historic Depot any time from now until the day of the event, Sat. October 5th.
The Edwards House on First St.
The Price/Fletcher House on Third St.
The Day/Jackson House on First St.
The Crisp/Blessinger House on Third St.
The volunteer home properties are a little spread out this year, but we have three stops on First Street and two stops on Third Street. We recommend that attendees drive to each location, but as Dayton is a small town, the tour can be walked by anyone who is physically capable of doing so. The homes can be visited in any order and at any time between 1pm and 4pm on the day of the event. Maps and detailed tour booklets with the locations of the homes will be supplied at the time of your ticket purchase.
There will be tour guides and docents stationed at each location from 1pm to 4pm and ready to take on your tour group as you arrive at each home.
These homes pair very nicely with our self-guided Historic Town walking tour booklet which is always available at the Historic Depot Museum.
All proceeds from this event go directly to operational costs for the Society which continues to steward and preserve the historical data on over 130 locally registered historical homes in the town of Dayton, WA.
